Cathy Wright is the founder
and owner of Wright Tax Solutions, LLC. She is an Enrolled Agent with over 17 years experience
in public accounting. Prior to founding Wright Tax Solutions, LLC Cathy spent 8 years with
a large local Atlanta CPA firm, where she served a wide variety of tax clients, including individuals, small businesses and
trusts. During this time she worked with a number of high-net worth business owners and professionals. Many
of her clients lived and worked outside the state of Georgia and outside of the U.S. She began her career with one of the
Big 4 international accounting firms in their International Assignment Services department, later moving to a second Big 4
firm. During her 8 years with the Big 4 firms she provided services to the cross-boarder workforce of many large
international corporations. Her experience in working with individuals
is quite varied-- including high-net worth, expatriates, foreign nationals, self-employed business owners, clergy and missionaries,
executives, college students, and seniors. Cathy also has extensive experience dealing with IRS and state issues.
As an Enrolled Agent, Cathy has the authority to represent her clients in any tax matters before the IRS. She has assisted many delinquent filers that have not filed previous years tax returns and are
now receiving notices from the IRS and state taxing authorities. Other tax experience includes managing over 200 trust
returns for a major trust company in Atlanta; working with business owners to prepare their annual business and individual
income tax returns, along with property tax returns, and payroll tax returns; and, Georgia Tax Credits for businesses and
individuals. Cathy has extensive experience with CCH's ProSystem fx
Tax software. She attended 4 national CCH User Conferences, and was Chairperson of the the SE ProSystem fx Tax
user conference for 2 years. She was deeply involved in the firm's transition to a "less-paper" workflow for
individual tax preparation, and the move to triple monitor use for tax professionals. She has over 12 years experience
